E-commerce solutions for businesses affected by COVID-19

For over a decade, the private limited company "OGTRANSA" has been operating in cargo transportation in Lithuania, gradually shifting focus to the Western European market. Currently, the company's main activities are international transportation and logistics solutions in Western Europe. The company is implementing the project E-commerce solutions implementation at UAB "OGTRANSA" under the measure "E-commerce model COVID-19".

During the project implementation, it is planned to create an online self-service system for B2B sector clients to place, manage, and pay for orders. Implementing such a solution will help the company grow and increase competitiveness.

The total project cost is 66,360 EUR, of which 49,770 is allocated from the European Regional Development Fund. Funded as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company will contribute the remaining amount with its own funds.

Electronic business management system implemented in the company

2017 March 31 UAB "OGTRANSA" completed the project titled "Optimization of UAB "OGTRANSA" operational management tools and increasing operational efficiency", partially funded by the European Union's Regional Development Fund under the measure "E-business".

According to the funding agreement, the company had to invest up to 5,209.97 EUR of its own funds (excluding VAT), while the grant amount was 7,814.95 EUR. The total value of the 11-month project according to the contract with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency is 13,024.92 EUR.

During the project implementation, UAB “OGTRANSA” adopted and implemented an advanced IT Logistics accounting and management automation system, allowing for more efficient management of company operations. The company implemented an e-business system integrating transport management processes, significantly optimizing operational tools, increasing work productivity, and allowing for more efficient execution of the company’s core activities, increasing operational volume and competitiveness against other companies. Thanks to the system, the company will be able to successfully conduct and develop the expansion of international relations.

It is expected that the implementation of new E-business solutions, improving and expanding operational capabilities in the transport sector, will become an important factor in promoting international cooperation.
